Suffolk Chamber of Commerce is organising a series of workshops to give Suffolk businesses a winning edge in the race to secure London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games contracts, and public sector contracts in general.
An accountant of my acquaintance has had the most depressing three months business that he can ever recall, though he has never been so busy.
Suffolk Chamber of Commerce is organising a series of workshops to give Suffolk businesses a winning edge in the race to secure London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games contracts, and public sector contracts in general.
They will be led by "selling to Government" expert Malcolm Gallagher, who will provide an insight into what businesses have to do to win public sector contracts.
Gallagher, who is a director of BizVision, is known as "the procurement coach". He is renowned for his inspirational presentations on how to win public sector contracts. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing working globally to help enterprising companies "sell to government and big business".
The workshops will take place across Suffolk with the first series in Ipswich in April and May, the second in Lowestoft in June and July and the third in Bury St Edmunds in October and November.
Funding to support the programme has been made available by Suffolk County Council and the Suffolk Strategic Partnership.
