Hadleigh Charity Shop opened six years ago to raise money for local organisations and to help poor people in Albania.

Selling anything from furniture to bric-a-brac, this thriving shop, run entirely by volunteers, has donated money to many local groups, including Riding for the Disabled, under 12s and under 8s football teams, playgroups and the Elderly Peoples' Welfare. It sponsors local people raising money for charity and donates to local groups of national charities.

It is currently financing the building of a house for a very poor family in Albania, and it supports Albanian students at university.
