Big enough to have all you need; small enough to offer personal service.  Choice and customer care are something of a tradition in Hadleigh.

Shopkeepers here are bucking the trend toward push button service and remote sales.  There's someone to help in every shop whether you want Wellingtons or luxury chocolates.

Packed in the town's centre are all the shops you could need - including gifts, books, groceries, shoes, clothes, household goods and hardware.  Choose a cafe or pub to rest in and just enjoy being in one of the country's most historic market towns still a buzzing trading centre.

Just look at our list.  It's impossible to mention the huge number of stores.  Anyway, part of the fun of shopping is discovery and in Hadleigh you don't have to walk very far to discover a great deal.

There's more in Hadleigh than you may at first realise. Most are on the main High Street, but wander off into the side streets and you'll find some little gems.

Local Produce

A recent TV programme challenged a supermarket to show any product made within a 30 mile radius. You won't be surprised to find they didn't know where to start.

But do our local shops do any better? Over the next few weeks we'd like to get list of the local shops and what they sell that is produced locally - a contribution to save energy (on shipping) and support local business.
