Tesco - Planning Decision Postponed
Babergh have announced that they have had to postpone its consideration of the Tesco planning application for a superstore in Hadleigh, originally scheduled for July 14, to a date sometime later this year - with September being the earliest.
They advise that this has been made necessary due to the need to consider legal advice regarding the assessment of environmental issues before an application can be considered by councillors. They have apologised for any inconvenience such a delay may cause and state that they will ensure that all interested parties are informed as early as possible once a new committee date has been set.
