Hadleigh Entertainments Committee 2010
We had our 2nd meeting on the 14th April and we discussed what events we could do this year.
The current members have lots of ideas and I thank you all for your time keep up the hard work. We found that a music event went down very well in the past so thought another one of these would go down well. Also we know for quite a few years the Hadleigh Carnival has been a talking point around the town. Not forgetting our craft fairs which are always very popular too. So I am pleased to say we are looking to put on a event in the August bank holiday which will combine both events in to one.
We was joined by Malcolm and Nikki from Hads and we started to discuss the 90 year anniversary of Hads. This may be the theme of the carnival this year and we will be asking local pubs and groups for help too. As mentioned above we will also look in to music as well maybe in the pubs and then on stage too. Talks went on to discuss Christmas time and to think about things to do and also to arrange a date too.

We would still like more ideas and help on the committee so if you feel you would like to help out or have some ideas. Please make sure you come along to our next meeting at the back of the George pub starting at 7:30pm on the 19th May 2010.
