The George is a former coaching inn dating back to at least 1537 and still maintains its original beamed ceiling. We consist of a single bar attracting locals and visitors alike, with a separate dining room serving a mix of homemade, locally made and old favourites, we also have a large patio garden which catches the sun all day. We provide quality live music from time to time and host a monthly bluegrass evening. With no juke box or pool table it is an ideal place to meet and eat.
