Networking
For many businesses, networking is a key part of our sales cycle. Being recommended by another company who already knows and trusts you, provides a pre-qualified sale. Conversly being able to recommend a friend to a customer who you know will deliver only improves your relationship with that client.
There has been talk about getting regular meetings together in the town to include this. Can I ask the President if this may be a topic at the AGM? Location, time and format will be the questions. I would vote Location - Hadleigh town and consistent, Time - lunch but happy for morning or early evening, Format - "keep them moving buffet", short talk on key issue, then focus on one or two businesses/opportunities in the town

Networking
The idea of regular meetings for hadleigh businesses seems great and a good opportunity to keep abreast of developments in the area. How often should these meetings occur?I would suggest that once a month would be sufficient and have a 'guest speaker' every other month with a brief talk on a topical subject eg pensions, proposed building developments around hadleigh, impact of superstores on local businesses businesses etc. What subjects would be of interest to our members?
