Local Translators

We are now being asked to provided our services in multiple languages. For the first projects the customer is arranging their own translations but it would be nice to recommend a local person if possible, to help clients translate their own content. The first are naturally going to be the near European languages although we are potential clients in the pipeline for Japanese, Taiwanese and Chinese. Does anyone have local, direct translation contacts? Tony Addison

Local translators

Oriel Translations on 827941 offers French-English and English-French. Not a Chamber member but possibly could be recruited. Also, Oriel may be able to offer contact names for other languages to help you build up a portfolio of specialists

Is it possible we could find another link here with students? Maybe there is a student at Suffolk College - or elsewhere - able to offer a translation service.

I'm sure the College could be of help, either through students or other contacts. The person to speak to is Freddie Guest. Her direct line number is 01473 296508.
