Always a very popular event, the Chamber BBQ will again be a Hog Roast at Priory Hall
For 2009 the Chamber is planning a regular series of lunch and breakfast events at local venues. We aim to invite prominent local businessman to speak at each event on a variety of themes.
During the year the Chamber have kicked off a few projects and have some further ideas sitting in the wings waiting some resource. We always welcome help in these endeavours, not necessarily to join the committee but just to spare a little time on an individual project and help with your particular skills.
Hadleigh Eight Bells The next breakfast meeting is not until October as we have a summer break. At the moment we have not selected a presentation so if you would like to be considered please email Jonathan Rands | Priory Hall Always a very popular event the Chamber Summer BBQ this year is going to have to be capped at 120 people. We'll have the booking form ready in a few days. Book now |
We have had 100 responses to the business crime server so thank you all who took the time. Now we have the problem of analysing so many responses and drawing the conclusions to match against both the national and county surveys from the British Chambers. This will take a few weeks as it is in someones spare time so bear with us. From an initial scan we seem to be better off here than in most other parts of the country. | We understand the next milestone in the Tesco Planning application story will be a review towards the end of the summer. We believe there has been a substantial shift in the view of both residents and businesses over the past 18 months. Add you view to the straw poll on the right. If you have more to say add your thoughts to our Tesco forum. You will need to be signed in but if you don't have a user account, just register in the left hand panel |
